About Us Mission Trips
Grace Bible Church participates in a variety of short-term mission trips. Our most common three are the Kentucky Mountain Mission (KMM) Dental Trip, our Slovakia Trip, and our New York City Trip. Details about the trips follow below:
Kentucky Mountain Mission (KMM) Dental Trip
A team of volunteers from Grace Bible Church and several other churches, go to Youth Haven Bible Camp for KMM in Beattyville, Kentucky for a five-day Dental Mission trip. They are able to minister to many who have no other access to dental care. This team is committed to serving others in the name of Jesus through providing quality dental care for no charge to demonstrate, in love, the gift of eternal life that Christ gives to us. Each year, a team of dentists, dental hygenists, as well as individuals and families head to Kentucky. Everyone has a job to do, whether working the sludge line or sitting down in one-on-one counseling and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.In 2011, over a period of three days they: saw over 200 people, over a hundred dental cleanings, fillings and several hundred extractions shared the Gospel with all who participated.
The 2013 KMM Dental Trip will be October 11-14.

SlovakiaFor many years, Grace Bible Church has supported full-time missionaries to the country of Slovakia.
Five years ago we sent a small group from Grace to Slovakia to come along side a missionary family, to bring some needed supplies and to be a support team for fellowship, prayer and encouragement.
Since that initial trip, each summer a group of individuals has returned to Slovakia. With each trip, God continues to work through His servants to develop trust among the people of Slovakia and to establish lasting friendships. He brings these two groups of people together, speaking different languages and experiencing differing cultures, uniting them with the enjoyment of sports, games, music, and the desire to learn English.
In 2011, a group of ten people from Grace returned to Stola to help with a summer camp where over 78 children participated!
They had photos and posts from their trip on Facebook English Camp in Stola, Slovakia.
In 2012, there were two trips to Slovakia: July 2 - 6 was the English Camp and July 9 -13 was the Baseball Camp.
The 2013 Slovakia trips are planned as follows: July 8-12 for the English Camp, and July 15-19 for the Baseball Camp. Please contact Shawn Sumrall for more information.
